Katherine Norris Broyles

She was born on February 16, 1917 to Claude and Maybelle Norris in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

She was an employee for many years at Dixie Yarns. She and her husband were very active in square dancing and she was also a charter member of the Chattanooga Doll Club. She was a member of St. John United Methodist Church

Katherine was preceded in death by her husband Claude Broyles, her parents, brothers, sisters, and one grandson.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her son, H. David (Jane) Broyles, daughters, Sylvia Broyles Smith, and Louise Broyles Reis of Louisville, Kentucky, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens on Wednesday February 27, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. The family will receive friends from 10:30-12:30 p.m. at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home prior to the service.

The family would like to thank the staff at Parkside Nursing Home and Tapestry Hospice for their kind and loving care of mother.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions in memory of Katherine be made to the charity of your choice.
