She is survived by her husband, John P. Spehar, daughter, Vicki (Lynn) Watson, son, John S. (Mary Jane) Spehar, five grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Kay was a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s degree in Education. Kay taught at the Orange Grove Center and was retired from Insulation Unlimited.
Due to the pandemic restrictions, there will be no visitation and at Kay’s request there will be a private family service for the interment of ashes at a later date.
The family wishes to thank the compassionate and professional staff of Ascension Living, Alexian Live at Home and Hearth Hospice for their care and support.
Memorial contributions may be made in Kay’s name to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank, 2009 Curtain Pole Road, Chattanooga, TN 37406.
