Margaret Louise Slatton, 81, of East Ridge went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 7, 2019. She was a member of Jones Memorial United Methodist Church. Margaret attended Central High School and had been a Group Leader with the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Chattanooga. She had been an inspiration to many people over the last several years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Slatton and two brothers, Luther “Junior” Baughn and Richard Baughn.
Survivors include her children, Skip Slatton, Johnnie Sue Slatton, Scott (Amber) Slatton and Patsy (Carlton) Gann; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Friday at Jones Memorial United Methodist Church, 4131 Ringgold Road, East Ridge, TN with Minister Charles Cochran officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11 AM – 1 PM Friday at the church.
Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
