Nancy Angela “Angie” McBurnett, 69, of Chattanooga died February 22, 2013 at her home. She was born January 13, 1944 in Chattanooga to the late George and Susie Mae Axmacher. She was preceded in death by her husband James D. McBurnett and step-father Roy Lane.
Mrs. McBurnett was a 1963 graduate of East Ridge High School and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW post 98.
Survivors include son David (Carleen) McBurnett, daughter Suzy (Shawn) Crawford, step-son Richard McBurnett, brother Ronald Axmacher, eight grandchildren Kevin, Katelyn, Bailey, Collin, Morgan, Kacie, Tyler and Anna.
Funeral services will be 1:00 Tuesday, February 26 at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Brother Chris Cordes officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2-8 and Monday from 4-8.
