Pamela Moore Reed, 68, of Ooltewah, formerly of East Ridge went home to be with the Lord on Friday January 8, 2021.

She was born March 6, 1952 to the late Helen and Robert “Andy” Moore, which were the loves of her life. Pam was a member of Silverdale Baptist. She retired from the Bank of East Ridge and City Bank after 30 years of service. Pam touched so many lives during her many years as a drive thru teller. She played softball in East Ridge and was coached by Claude and Jettie Maxwell, both of whom she loved dearly. Pam never met a stranger. She had a true heart of gold and it showed by the many lives she touched. Pam definitely loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Her husband, Bobby Reed whom she adored meant the world to her.

Left behind to cherish Pam’s memory are her aforementioned loving husband, Bobby; children, Hope Reed (Dennis) Rhinehart, Robby (Angela) Reed, 3 grandchildren, Savanah and Peyton Reed and Hayley Bodenhamer, 2 great-grandchildren, Bella , Braxton "Charlie" Bodenhamer, sister, Linda Young, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, several cousins, and many dear friends.

A Celebration of Pam’s Life will be held in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Thursday January 21, 2021 at 12:30 pm with Dr. Tony Weaver officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening January 20, 2021 from 4 to 8 pm. Pam will be laid to rest in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Pam was always so sweet snd kind to me and my family. I am thankful for the position she held in my family, married to you, my cousin Bobby. Bobby, I cannot imagine how you must be feeling, but pray God will grant you the strength and courage needed to get you through this extremely difficult and sad time. Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you. May you be comforted with the lifetime of memories you have with Pam.

Bobby, you and Pam were such a terrific couple! I know there are many things you two were proud of. Hope and Robby and their families are at the top of the list!

Hope and Robby, you two are amazing. I know you both held a special place in your momma’s heart! I pray for comfort and strength as you navigate through this devastating time. Prayers too that your hearts will heal and your sadness will be replaced with wonderful memories.

For those of us left behind, it seems Pam left us way too soon. But, we can rejoice knowing Pam is now completely healed, healthy and in the presence of God.

Although I have lived away for many years, I had the opportunity to rekindle my relationship with Pam a couple of years ago. In 2020, Pam and I were able to share our health challenges and pray for each other. I was blessed knowing she was praying for me and loved the cards and gifts she would send. I will miss my long distance communications with Pam. I am forever grateful for her loving kindness.

Our deepest sympathies and prayers that God will hold you close.

All our love to you,

Nat and Teresa (King) Uyeyama

Pam will be missed not only by me but all my staff, at Digestive Care and Management. She always brightened our day with kind words and always had a positive attitude. She loved her family and was so very proud of them. Her face would light up when she was talking about them or sharing pictures. She was a beautiful woman inside and outside.
