Daniel Lee Masten

Born in Warren County, NJ; on April 27, 1951 he was a son of the late Ervin D. Masten and Betsy (Amberman) Masten of Warren County. Daniel graduated from Belvidere High School, Belvidere, NJ; class of 1971 and spent most his life as a truck driver. At one time he was the owner and operator of Masten Trucking. He loved horses and shoeing horses, riding his motorcycle, and traveling across country.

Preceding him in death in addition to his father was a sister Jeanne Brown who passed away in December of 2012.

Surviving in addition to his mother are children, James Masten and his wife Dorothy of Stroudsburg; Kimberly Tirado and her husband Eddie of Effort; and Thomas Masten of Stroudsburg; former wife and caregiver, Carol Masten of Stroudsburg; sister Bonnie Mrozek of Stroudsburg; Kathleen Masten of Columbia, NJ; and Laura Masten of Columbia, NJ; brother, Stephen Masten of Hazleton; grandchildren, Riley, Taryn, Jasmine, Ariyana, Gabriella, and Brayden special niece, Amber Daniels and many other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 5, 2013 at noon in the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 27 Washington Street, East Stroudsburg with Rev. Edward A. Unangst pastor of Mc Michaels United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Columbia, NJ.

A public visitation will be held on Saturday January 5, 2013 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 27 Washington Street, East Stroudsburg 18301
