Earl K. Singer Jr.

Born October 3, 1931, He was the son of the late Earl K. Singer Sr. and Helen (Michaels) Singer, of East Stroudsburg.

Earl attended East Stroudsburg High School before he joined the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He had retired from McGraw-Edison Company in East Stroudsburg in 1983. He was a member of the Wind Gap American Legion Post #724 for 42 years. Earl loved to fish and hunt. He was also an avid bowler. Most times you could find him with his fellow bowlers at Blue Valley Bowling Lanes in Wind Gap.

Earl was a member of the Westly United Methodist Church of Belfast.

In addition to his parents, Earl had been preceded in death by his daughter: Maryann Riley.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Iola, his children: Earl K. Singer III and his wife Carolyn, of Effort PA, and Donnakay Stout and her husband Pete, of Wind Gap, PA; 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration of life held Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 9am until the time of the service at The Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, 27 Washington Street, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301. The Funeral services will begin at 11am, with Pastor Craig D. Laubach officiating. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery, 501 Prospect Street, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301.
