

Born May 30, 1921 in Millheim, PA to John Orien and Anona Rebecca (Yearick) Reish. He graduated Stroudsburg High School. He was employed at the Holland Thread Mill where he met his wife Doris and shared 66 years together.
He was employed at Hughes Printing Company in East Stroudsburg, from 1947 until his retirement in 1986. Glenn was a decorated WWII U.S. Army veteran serving in the Pacific Theater as a medical/surgical technician from 1943-1945.
Glenn had many accomplishments but his family was his greatest joy. He took great pride in being a “Reish”. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, and playing cards, especially Hoss’n Pepper with his family. He was a member of Poplar Valley United Methodist Church in Stroudsburg.
Preceded in death is his wife Doris (Doll) Reish; parents and his sister Hazel Fenner and brothers Donald, Leonard, and Gene Reish.
Surviving are his children: Glenn A. Reish Jr. and his wife Claire (Messler) of Englewood, Florida; Brian C. Reish, of Stroudsburg; Kristen (Reish) Wilson and husband Scott of Macungie, PA; and Dean Reish and his wife Marie (Scarsella) of East Stroudsburg, PA.
Surviving grandchildren; Glenn A. Reish, III and his wife Lisa; Greg A. Reish; Glenna M. Siegel; Alexandra J. Wilson; Matthew S. Wilson and his fiancée Monica, Adam R. Reish; and Erin E. (Reish) Jerlinsky and her husband Christopher.
Great grandchildren: Garrison, Meghan, Amanda, Samantha and one great great grandchild Kai.
Also surviving are his siblings, Talitha Bush, Joan Bentzoni, Gary Reish and his wife Donna and many many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Meals on Wheels and their volunteers and his wonderful and caring Caregivers, Angelia (Lia) Myers and Brittany Hill who took exceptional care of our father. Also, Hospice Nurse Jean who guided us through this difficult time and Wanda Ace who took special care of him during his last few weeks.
A viewing will be held at Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home 27 Washington St. East Stroudsburg PA,18301 on Sunday April 24th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral services held on Monday April 25th at 10:00am at Poplar Valley United Methodist Church 1035 Poplar Valley Road East, Stroudsburg, PA , burial to follow at Laurelwood Cemetery in Stroudsburg.
