

Joyce A. Mosier, 86, of East Stroudsburg, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 29, 2015 in her home surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of the late Norman W. Mosier and enjoyed 48 years of marriage.
Born in Paradise Township on November 17, 1928, she was a daughter to the late Edwin Sr. and Mary Mee (Price) Miller. Joyce graduated from Stroudsburg High School in 1948 and afterwards waitressed at the Willow Dell Restaurant. From 1965 to 1977 she worked for her family business Mosier’s Dairy and then continued on to be employed for Bridal Manor as a seamstress until she retired. Joyce enjoyed sewing, reading, baking and traveling.
Joyce was a member of the Houserville Chapel from 1950-1984 where she enjoyed leading the children’s Bible School; from there she became a member of The Calvay Bible Church in East Stroudsburg, and was an active member of the ladies missionary group and attended Bible studies.
Surviving are two children; Bruce W. Mosier and his wife Romayne of East Stroudsburg; Roxanne N. Burnett and her husband Greg of East Stroudsburg; Sister; Gladys (Betz) Dailey of Stroudsburg; also 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
A public viewing will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the Calvary Bible Church, 9 3 Point Garden Rd, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301. Immediately following will be the funeral service with the Pastor J. Christopher Smith, officiating. Burial will follow at the Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Calvary Bible Church.
