Margaret Mary Reed

Born on October 7, 1950 in Rockville Centre NY she was the daughter of John Joseph and Margaret Mary (O’Leary) Murray Sr.

She graduated from St. Agnes Cathedral in New York and she was employed in the Restaurant business and later as a Property Manager.

Margaret had many accomplishments, but her family and grandchildren were her greatest joy. She enjoyed coaching and participating in all sports with her boys. She will be remembered by her many friends for her big heart, fun loving spirit, and contagious smile. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and will be greatly missed but in our hearts forever.

Surviving are her sons: Samuel John Davidge and his wife Christina (MacLean) and their children Tristan John and Reece Kenneth of East Stroudsburg; Donald Howard Reed Jr. and Fionna Caro and their daughter Aubree Grace of Scotrun; siblings John Murray Jr. and wife Jo of Burlington, NC; Donna Peck and husband Jeff of Renton, WA; and Barbara Murray and Richard of Concord, NC, and her many nieces and nephews. She was the loving companion of Donald Reed Sr.

A memorial service will be held on Monday June 6, 2016 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home Inc. 27 Washington St. East Stroudsburg PA, 18301. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Margaret to the East Stroudsburg Fire Department 56 S Courtland St. East Stroudsburg PA 18301.
