

Born October 5, 1941 in East Stroudsburg she was the daughter of the late Marlin and Mary Otto (Derrick)
Marlene was a homemaker, avid golfer and an amazing painter. She enjoyed doing puzzles and playing bingo but going to the casino was her favorite. Marlene loved her family beyond words, she overcame many obstacles in her lifebut she always held her head high and managed to move forward.
Marlene is survived by: her children, Roxann and Bob of Stroudsburg, Linda of Harrisburg, Susan and Tony of Ohio, Brenda of Delaware and Joann of New Jersey; 8 grandchildren, Barbara, Lisa and husband Joe, Freddie, Kristi andhusband Ricardo, Jessica and husband Joe, Mike and wife Robin, Steven and Jackie; 9 great grandchildren, Christopher, Kara, Amelia, Aryana, Anthony, Joey, Ava, Layla and Gianna; sister, Edna Agins; brother, Earl “Jake” Lesoine, and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by: son, David Francis Hardy Jr.; sister, Libby; brother, Tommy; granddaughter, Nicole; and son-in-law, Todd Forbes.
“She will be missed beyond words and will always hold a special place in all our hearts.”
A public visitation will be held on Monday October 18, 2021 from 12pm – 2pm with a service immediately following after at the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home Inc. 27 Washington St. East Stroudsburg PA 18301. Burial will be atthe Laurel wood Cemetery 901 Bryant St. Stroudsburg PA 18360.
