

B. Pauline Hastings, 92 of Guthrie, Ok. went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday morning April 17, 2015. She was born February 16, 1923 in Comanche, Oklahoma to John Spencer Kennedy and Willie Mae (Byram) Kennedy. She moved with her family to Edmond, Oklahoma at an early age to help take care of her grandmother. Edmond became home then for most of her life. She married Raymond (jack) Hastings shortly after graduating from Edmond High School and they raised four sons in Edmond. Pauline’s working experience was a checker, bookkeeper, and homemaker. For a time she and her husband operated a café/gas station on Grand Lake, where she out fished him most of the time. When asked about the most rewarding parts of her life, she would quickly answer “my family.” She was preceded in death by her parents John and Mae Kennedy, her husband Raymond (Jack) Hastings, two sons Jack Raymond Hastings and James Earl Hastings, and one grandson Shane Hastings. She is survived by two sons Charles Ray (Linda) Hastings, Edmond, OK; Elwyn Edward (Cyndy) Hastings, Moore, OK., daughter-in-law Frances Hastings, Edmond, OK., 12 grandchildren 27 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. The family requests that in lieu of flowers and cards, that donations be made in her name to The Gideon’s International, 113 N. Division, Guthrie, OK, 73044.
