She married Phil Whittaker in 1983, and they were happily married for 37 years until his passing. She was a retired R.N. who spent 35 years as a nurse in both Tulsa, Oklahoma and Houston, Texas.
Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Phil Whittaker; step-son, Daniel Whittaker; and parents, Frank and Irene Warlick.
She is survived by daughters: Rebecca Cannon-Donceel and the late Kurt Donceel, Lori and Tony Brady, Rachel and Chris Morgan, and Janet and Wes Young; step-daughter Mary-Carrol Thompson; brothers Ron Warlick and Jerry and Gloria Warlick; numerous loving grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and other family and friends.
