Bruce Cullom Dunn

Bruce Cullom Dunn, age 63, passed away Aug 27, 2012 at Midwest Regional Medical Center in Midwest City, OK. He was born Dec 31, 1948 in Kingsville, Texas to Samuel Chester and Elizabeth “Betty” Dunn. After graduating from Duke University in 1970, Bruce obtained his medical degree from University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio, TX. He completed his residency in pathology at Brooke Army Medical Center, moved to Ponca City, OK in 1981, and then to Edmond, OK in 1994. He was a partner in Heartland Pathology Consultants, a member of the Oklahoma State Medical Association, The College of American Pathologists, and the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. Bruce married Kathryn Dunn on June 2, 1970. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; sons, Bryan and Kevin; daughter-in-law, Jennifer; grandchildren, Sydni and Cameron; one brother, Neil. He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Sept 29, 2012 at the Baggerley Funeral Home Chapel. Contributions may be made in memory of Bruce Dunn, MD, in support of myelofibrosis research at Mayo Clinic, Department of Development, 200 First Street SW, Rochester, Minnesota 55905.
