Carol L. Morales

Carol Laney Morales, 58, of Edmond, collected her wings at 12:30 PM, Tuesday, September 29th, 2015 at The Mercy Hospital in Okc. She was born June 13th, 1957 in Little Rock Arkansas, to Connie and Gerald Robertson. She married Eugene Morales on April 10th, 1976 and he is still with us along with their daughter Carolyn, her sister Mary Robertson and her grandsons Shotzi (Raymond) and Kairo and one granddaughter Israel. Carol was a long time resident of Edmond where she lived since leaving her childhood home in Sheridan. Carol would like to let you know that her work here will never be done. Even though she may be done here on Earth, she still has much more work to do in Heaven. She received a call, a sort of an offer you can’t refuse, for an appointment from which she will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time. Job security is exactly 210 percent. Her new mission takes her to a wonderful place where she will be socializing, dancing, gardening and reading to her heart’s content. Music, laughter and love are guaranteed. Food is delicious and you never gain an ounce. She left detailed instructions for her husband Eugene, her daughter Carolyn, her sister Mary, and her grand children Raymond, Kairo, and Israel to celebrate her mission here, which has now been completed. Low adherence to this instruction will not be tolerated.

We want to let her know that she did a great job and wish her a safe journey. We will remember her smile, her warmth, her energy, her love for life, family and friends, but also her colleagues, and many of whom over time also became friends. She worked very hard all her life, up until the very end. She made a difference in the lives of many.

We invite you to join us and celebrate together. The visitation is from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM on Saturday, October 3rd, 2015 at the Baggerly Funeral Home located at 930 South Broadway, Edmond, OK 73034. The services for the celebration of life will follow at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 6th, 2015, also at the Baggerley Funeral Home. The release of the monarchs will be at the Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery located at 13313 North Kelley, Oklahoma City, OK 73131.
