Curtis Ray Cordray

Curtis Ray Cordray was born on March 7, 1936 in Tulsa, OK and passed away on November 1, 2017 in Edmond, OK. Curtis married the love of his life, Beverly, in Colorado on December 21, 1956. In 1965 they moved to Edmond to raise their 4 children. Curtis was a proud Air Force and Army Reserve veteran for 8 years. He loved to fish, play poker, and spend time with his family. He never met a stranger. Curtis was one of a kind and would give you the shirt off of his back. His family was his world and he influenced everyone around him to be a better person. He will be missed dearly.

Curtis is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marceline (Rocky) Cordray; son, Rickey Cordray; and grandson, Bo Rios.

Curtis is survived by his wife, Beverly; children, Patty (Boni) Rios, Marsha (Greg) Baxter, and Ron (Pam) Cordray; daughter-in-law Nancy Cordray; brother, Robert (Margie) Cordray; grandchildren, Stacey Rios, Crystal Baxter, Dustin (Amy) Baxter, Amanda Bruschi, Derek (Brittany) Cordray, Jesse (Katelyn) Cordray, Michelle Cordray, Melissa (Tom) Ramirez; 11 great-grandchildren; aunt, Jerri (Kenneth) Strickland; nephew, Rob (Laurie) Cordray; and numerous cousins, extended family, and friends.
