Edith Anne Bullard

Edith had a long and fulfilling career as a secretary for Putnam City Schools, where she dedicated 28 years of service to the Transportation Department before retiring on January 1, 2007.

A passionate reader, Edith loved to immerse herself in books and enjoyed playing games on her Kindle in her free time. She was also an enthusiastic bowler, participating in the Retirees’ League at Bowlero in Edmond, Oklahoma, where she bowled twice a week to stay active and engaged with her community. Edith cherished her adventurous side, frequently joining her niece and nephew, Tammy and Anthony Haynes, for hot air ballooning whenever the opportunity arose.

Edith shared a devoted 53 years of marriage with Johnny Bullard Jr. until his passing in 2018. She is survived by her daughters, Laura Bullard and Karen Wilson; her son-in-law, Larry Wilson; and her grandchildren, Bailey Rubin, Cressie Rubin, David Wilson, and Ryan Wilson.

Edith’s warmth, spirit, and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
