She was born in Panama, Oklahoma on December 1st, 1938 to parents Moman and June Hall. Ruth went on to graduate from Keata High School. She met Perry Griffin, and the two were married on July 5th, 1958. Ruth was a homemaker, and had a passion for painting and all things arts and crafts.

She is survived by her daughters, Pam (Dwayne) Westfall, and Mary (Don) Sadler; Son, Terry (Cresenda) Griffin; Grandchildren, Mike (Scarlett) Mason, Crystal (Rocco) Waller - Ronio, Jonathan Sadler, Christopher Griffin, and Brady Harris; Great-Grandchildren, Lathie & Katelyn Mason, Wyatt Waller, Ella Ronio, Abby Sadler, Leanora Griffin, Laila Griffin, Benjamin Griffin, Brielle Griffin; As well as 3 great-great grandchildren.

A public visitation will be held Thursday, October 29th, from 4-8pm at Baggerley Funeral Home located in Edmond.

A funeral service will be held for Ruth at 1:00 pm, Friday, October 30th at Classen Boulevard Baptist Church located in Oklahoma City with a burial at Rosehill Burial Park to follow directly afterward.
