

Jack T. LaReese was born October 12, 1928 in Oklahoma City, OK to Tony and Lucille LaReese. He passed away on Ash Wednesday, February 22, 2012. Jack graduated Classen High School in 1946 then attended Oklahoma A&M (OSU). He graduated with a Degree in Business in 1951. Jack was a distinguished and decorated combat officer during the Korean War from 1951-1953 serving in the US Army Second Division, 38TH Infantry. He was an affluent business man, real-estate broker, rancher, and entrepreneur. Jack was a consultant for the commission of the review of the national policy toward gambling for the US Government. He was a past officer for the Oklahoma Cattleman’s Association and a proud member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He was also a founding member of the OSU Posse Club. Jack was an avid outdoorsman whether it be hunting, fishing, or working with his bird dogs. He was a loving husband, father and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents and younger brother Bill LaReese. He is survived by his loving wife Glo; daughter Amy (Chris) Myrick; son Jack Kyle LaReese; granddaughter Alyssa Myrick; Jim LaReese; Tony, Cindy, and Bill LaReese Jr. A Memorial Service will be held at Baggerley Funeral Home Chapel on Monday , February 27 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Norman Veterans Center or Parkinson’s Foundation.
