

Jacqueline Ruth (Yardy) Mason was born to William Yardy, Jr. and Anna Mae (Monday) Yardy in Shawnee, Oklahoma, on January 24, 1954. Jackie attended Franklin School and Shawnee High School, Class of 1972.
Jackie married George S. Mason, III, and four boys were born into this union. Jackie lived in Florida and Louisiana, returning home to Oklahoma, where she has lived in Edmond until her death. Jackie then met Jeff Cooper, who she loved with all her heart. Jeff took care of Jackie, and they were never apart. Jeff loved her; he provided for her well, never leaving her side. She loved her dog Curly Fries and dressed him up. Jackie took Curly Fries everywhere with her. She also loved reading and watching old movies. She could bead, sew, crochet and cook. Jackie was a cook for most of her life. The things she enjoyed the most in life were listening to music and playing with her grand-babies.
Jackie loved her family and friends. Jackie loved getting together with her family and especially the Yardy parties. Jackie was an excellent cook. She would always make her special goulash for her sister.
Jackie is preceded in death by her father, William Yardy Jr.; mother Anna Mae (Monday) Yardy; sister Marion April Yardy; brothers Stephen Bruce Yardy and Robin Paul Yardy.
Jackie is survived by her loving and devoted spouse Jeff of the home; four sons: Chris Mason of Shawnee, Oklahoma; George Mason IV, and wife Christina of the home; Randall Mason, and wife Courtney of Shawnee, Oklahoma; and Christopher Mason, and wife Tanika of Norman, Oklahoma; sister Rebecca Rowe, and husband John of Edmond; brothers, Pete Yardy, and wife Teresa of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and John Yardy, and wife Maria of Norman, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; numerous nieces; and nephews.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM, Saturday, May 7, 2022, at the Guthrie V.F.W. Hall - Post 4578 (5223 South Division Street, Guthrie, Oklahoma.) Please come casual in your favorite team colors. Located across from Vance Auto and 1st Guthrie exit.
