Janie Richesin

Janie Richesin, age 50 passed from this earth on Tuesday, May 25, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Zelda Williams. She is survived by her wonderful husband of 24 years, Bill Richesin of Edmond, OK, her son Kristopher Hicks who made her so proud, also of Edmond. Other survivors include her sister Debbie Scott who affectionately knew Janie as “Toots” and husband David of OKC, brother Hays Williams of OKC, mother and father in law Dorothy and Clyde Hunt of Edmond, nieces Kimberley Scott and Lindsey Scott of OKC who adored her, Nicole Williams of Indiana, and her beloved dog Katie, along with a host of friends and co-workers. Janie graduated from Northwest Classen High School in OKC and worked for the OK State Tax Commission, recently earning her 30 year pin for her dedicated service to the citizens of Oklahoma.

The family would like to express their sincere most appreciation to Janie’s co-workers within the OK Tax Commission who selflessly gave up many hours of their PTO to allow Janie to recover after her surgery in 2009.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 28 at Baggerley Funeral Home, 930 S. Broadway, in Edmond, OK. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May, 29 at 11:00 a.m., also at Baggerley Funeral Home. On-line condolences may be made at baggerley.com.
