Martha Grace Tassin was born to Roy and Eva Greer on March 31st, 1926 in Konawa, Oklahoma and passed away peacefully on November 27, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 94. She was the youngest of 4 sisters.
Martha went on to graduate from Oklahoma Baptist University with a bachelor’s degree, and had a career in elementary school teaching for the Edmond School District. On March 26th, 1948, she married Ray Tassin. Dr. Ray Tassin was a college professor. Martha loved to teach Sunday school at First Baptist of Edmond Church. She will be greatly missed.
Martha is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Tassin; her only child, Mark Tassin; sisters, Pearl La Munyon, Genevieve Greer, and Rebecca Boles; parents, Eva and Roy Greer.
A visitation will be held for Martha at 1pm on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2020 at Baggerley Funeral Home, located at 930 S. Broadway, Edmond, Oklahoma 73034.
A graveside service will be held following the visitation at 2pm Wednesday, December 2nd, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery, located at 13400 N. Kelley Avenue, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73131.
