Michael Alan Merrick

Michael Alan Merrick of Edmond, Oklahoma, left this world on March 17, 2017. Born in Seattle, Washington on June 8, 1961 to Charles and Karen Merrick. Mike was kind hearted, always putting his family above all else. He was soft spoken, but loved so abundantly that it radiated through him in all he did. He worked hard and stopped at nothing to make those around him, especially his children, smile. He was a wonderful son, brother, father, uncle, and grandfather, always patient and generous. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Mike is survived by his 2 children, Justin Merrick, wife Amy and granddaughter Layla of Edmond OK, Kati Moore and husband Clint of Oklahoma City, brother Patrick Merrick of Edmond OK, sister Christina Holford and husband Chris of Valparaiso, IN, and his parents Charles and Karen Merrick of Edmond OK.

A service will be held Saturday March 25th at Cross Timbers Church in Edmond at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up with the Red Andrews Christmas Dinner where Mike volunteered for 28 years.
