Michael Stanley Wahl

Michael Stanley Wahl, 57, went to be with our Lord on January 2, 2014 in Houston, TX. He was born in Wichita, Kansas, to Peter Stanley and Philomena (Pfannenstiel) Wahl on June 16, 1956. Michael graduated from Memorial High School and lived most of his life in Edmond. He recently moved to Houston for his job with IHS where he was Sr. Operations manager. Oil and gas was truly the career that he loved, serving as a member of the Geological society and AAPG. His other love was every sport known to man. He was President of the Men’s Senior Baseball League, and loved coaching his son in baseball and hockey. If he wasn’t watching football and nascar, he was snow skiing in Crested Butte, CO, New Mexico or Utah. He also loved swimming in his parent’s pool with his “little fish”, Christi. Michael is preceded in death by his father, Stan Wahl. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sandra; his mother, Philomena Wahl; brothers, Scott and Craig Wahl; children, Christi Wahl (John Cox), Jerremy Wahl and wife Amanda; Brandon Wahl (Shalisa Dodd); brother-in-law, Jim Earp; grandchildren, Dillon Wahl (Becka Mow), Emma Starr Cox, Kohen Wahl, and Andy Cox. A memorial service will be held 10:00am, Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Baggerley Funeral Home Chapel in Edmond.
