

She was born to the late Burke and Genevieve Jenkins on April 13, 1949 in Enid, Oklahoma. Nancy graduated from Enid High School in 1967. She married Roger Curtis in 1980 and they made their home in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Nancy was employed at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company from 1967 until her retirement in 1999. She began her career as a Telephone Operator, then became a Service Representative, and then rose to become a Manager in the company. She consistently achieved top results and received multiple performance awards. Her greatest strength was helping employees and co-workers reach their top potential. Above all, she began many lifetime friendships that continued after retirement.
Nancy loved spending time at their home at Lake Eufaula surrounded by family and friends. Many weekends were spent boating, lounging on the beach, and water skiing. She was also an avid fisherwoman and she mastered the art of catching catfish and crappie with Cheetos and Hot Dogs.
Survivors include her husband Roger of the home; daughter and spouse, Amy and Tony Miller, of Edmond; daughter, Katie Leonard of Edmond; a son, Landon of Norman; brother, Louis Jenkins of Duluth, MN; sisters, Dianne Mathis of Oklahoma City and Annette Gariepy of Enid; and 6 grandchildren, Bryce Miller, Andrew Miller, Zachary Miller, Rebecca Miller, Austin Leonard and Kevin Leonard. She is preceded in death by her parents and an infant son, Jarrod.
Nancy touched the lives of many people and maintained her great sense of humor all the way to the end. She will be sorely missed by all of her family and friends.
Private services are being arranged by Baggerley Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the National Parkinson Foundation.
