This man of excellence, Quinton Dewayne Hall was born to the proud parents, Bill Hall and Camilla Reeves on July 16, 1987. From his first breath, Quinton brought joy to our family. His warmth and compassion were undeniable. If you had the pleasure of being around and/or getting to know Quinton, aka “Q”, it didn’t take long to realize that he had a huge heart. He often proudly gave his last to those he encountered in need. He brightened this world with his affectionate smile, contagious laughter and heartfelt bear hugs! He naturally attracted people through his magnetic spirit and love for life. He never failed to show love and kindness. He ended each telephone conversation by reminding you how much he loved you and never left the house without a tender kiss and a bear hug! We thank God for Quinton - a precious gift. And we thank God for allowing us to love him, and in-turn loving us so dearly! He was an awesome brother, son, friend and loving father.
He accepted Christ at an early age; he was baptized at Greater Mount Carmel Baptist Church, where he participated in various church organizations. He later joined Prospect Baptist Church.
He attended Putnam City North High School and Francis Tuttle Technology Center.
In 2004 Quinton met his best friend, Betina Hadley. They would later be blessed with a beautiful daughter Layla Mackenzie, lovingly referred to as “lil Quinton”. Layla has always been the apple of his eye.
His legacy will remain in the cherished memories of his daughter, Layla Mackenzie Hadley, Oklahoma City, OK; parents, Bill Hall and Camilla Reeves, Oklahoma City, OK; siblings: Terrell D. Hall (LaTasha) Roswell, GA, and Tara D. Hall, Stillwater, OK; niece, Tiarra, and nephew, Terrell D. Hall Jr, Roswell, GA; maternal grandmother, Ada Lee Simmons, Oklahoma City, OK; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Percy and Alice Hall, and maternal grandfather, Orville Reeves.
Words can never express how much he will be missed; however, there is comfort in knowing that we will see him again. We thank God for the time we were allowed to spend with our precious beloved son.
