A genuine free spirit in every sense, Riley’s infectious laugh, love, and personality were a gravitational force to be reckoned with. Once you were in her orbit, you were in her life forever. Riley’s universe was both large and small - she was able to travel to experience other parts of the country and the world, and was never afraid to try new things. She loved adventure and the outdoors, and held a special place in her heart for both sunrises and sunsets. But what Riley enjoyed the most was being with her family and friends, riding her motorcycle(s), caring for animals, and especially being in love with her true soul mate, Dustin, who was always by her side.
While all who knew and loved Riley are completely heartbroken by this devastating loss, we know that she will live on forever in our memories of her. But one of the greatest sources of strength and comfort to us is that Riley was able to give the greatest gift of all - the gift of life - to many others through organ and tissue donation. She is a true hero, and was able to provide absolute miracles for those recipients and their families. Even in death, Riley is forever a source of light.
Riley was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Ross Bottorff. She is survived by her soul mate and significant other Dustin Teupell; her mother Jennifer; sisters Reagan and Reese; Jennifer’s spouse Nancy Nardi; maternal grandmother Anne Bottorff; cousin Michele McIntosh and her husband Dustin; cousins Paige, Lauren, and Ash McIntosh; cousin Brandon Riley and his wife Amy; her precious cat Beena, her father Jim; and countless other family and friends who love her dearly and miss her tremendously.
Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Riley’s life on Tuesday, October 29th, at 2pm at Acts 2 United Methodist Church, 4848 W. Covell Road, Edmond, Oklahoma, 73012. Dress is very casual.
In lieu of flowers, we welcome memorials in her name to LifeShare of Oklahoma:
