The family would like to thank God first and foremost, the Oklahoma Heart Hospital, and Edmond’s First Presbyterian congregation for their devotion, specifically the men’s prayer group that he loved. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Floyd B. Parks Association, c/o Bill Birdsong, 17139 Owl Tree Road, Riverside, CA 92504 in memory of Bob Friess. Bob was a passionate member of the retired navy club that is currently working to memorialize the ship that he served on during the Vietnam War. When funding is complete, a plaque for the Floyd B. Parks, now decommissioned, will be placed at Arlington National Cemetery.
Funeral services will be held at Baggerley Funeral Home in Edmond on Thursday December 2nd at 3:00 p.m.
