Robert "Ryan" McCoy

He was born on January 22nd, 1974 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to George McCoy and Cheryl Pinson, and inherited from both a kindness and joy that he would carry throughout his life.

Ryan’s love of people defined him, and he had an undeniable and lasting impact on everybody he met. He loved spending weekends and holidays with his family, Oklahoma football watch parties at his dad’s house, and always looked forward to his trips to Central Christian Camp in Guthrie.

Ryan was preceded in death by his brother, Toby McCoy, by his paternal grandparents, George and Marion McCoy, and by his maternal grandparents, Ed and Theda Cramer. He is survived by his mother, Cheryl Pinson and stepfather David of Edmond; father, George McCoy and stepmother Jane of Edmond; brothers, Trey and wife Stephanie and nieces Brittney and Katelyn of Kemah, Texas, and Zac and wife Julie and nephew Rory of Edmond.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 28th, 2018 at Baggerley Funeral Chapel, 930 S. Broadway, Edmond, OK 73034. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, whose incredible doctors were instrumental in giving Ryan a life he otherwise could not have had.
