

Scottie Lee Carter, beloved husband, father, son, and brother, passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 49. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on May 12, 1976, to Terry Wayne Carter and Irmgard Carter, Scottie was a resident of Yukon, Oklahoma.
Scottie graduated from Solid Rock Christian Academy in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and proudly served his country in the Army beginning in 2003 until being honorably discharged in 2010, achieving the rank of Specialist E4 with the 1st Cavalry. His military service was a source of great pride and accomplishment in his life.
On April 20, 2008, Scottie married the love of his life, Kindrid Carter. His family meant everything to him, and he cherished the time spent with them. He was a devoted husband and father, and his greatest achievements were his marriage, his son, and his time in the military.
Scottie had a passion for music, enjoying everything from gangster rap to 80s alternative. He loved cooking, watching football in his kitchen, and being surrounded by his family and friends. His sense of humor and ability to laugh at himself were defining qualities, as was his love for dancing and anything horror-related. Scottie will be remembered for his silliness, his unconditional love, and his patriotism.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kindrid Carter; his son Gaige; his parents, Terry Wayne Carter and Irmgard Carter; his sister, Tanya; his two nephews, Mason Carter and Jordan Pizzimenti; and his cherished fur baby, Huxley.
A funeral service will be held on December 17, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Dillon Funeral Service, located at 1200 N Cleveland Ave, Sand Springs, OK 74063.
Scottie Lee Carter's legacy of love, laughter, and dedication to family and country will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
