

Sheila Ann Nardelli was born in Monterey Park, California on October 12,1962 to Thomas and Louise Kelly. She has an older brother, James. She grew up in El Monte, California, attended Epiphany Elementary School in South El Monte, and graduated from El Monte High School, Class of 1980.
Sheila entered the formation program of St. Francis Mission Sisters from August of 1986 and left in 1993. She attended West Texas State University in Canyon, Texas, beginning in 1991, and studied special education, for several years. She then went on to teach at Joyland Preschool in Norwalk, California.
She met Douglas Nardelli in 1994 through a pen pal section of a Catholic newspaper. They dated for seven months and married on February 18, 1995 at Epiphany Catholic Church in South El Monte, California. She found out she was pregnant with honeymoon twins in 1995. Teresa Ann and Jonathan Eric were born that November. A few months later, she discovered she was pregnant and Monica Michelle was born the following November. They lived in El Segundo for about two years and then moved to Cerritos, California. They moved to Edmond, Oklahoma in the summer of 2012.
Sheila was a homemaker, religious education teacher, and choir member. She was also an extremely talented crocheter, knitter, and quilter. She made many beautiful pieces, some of which she kept, but most she gave to friends and family, as she had a very generous heart.
Sheila passed away on May 18, 2019 due to complications following surgery.
She is survived by her husband Douglas and children Jonathan and Monica. She was well loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
