Sep 15 1986 - Nov 27 2023
We say farewell to our dear and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and colleague, and child of God, angel – Aislin, gone home to be with the Lord.
Aislin Grace Brave started her life’s journey in Nassau, The Bahamas with parents, Gary and Linda (deceased) Roberts. The story of her birth was very much like her time here on earth - she took her time, and when she arrived she was beautiful and loved by all. Aislin was doted on and shown God’s favor since childhood. She was intelligent and shone in her studies from Xavier’s Lower School where she graduated Salutatorian, to St. Augustine’s College and Florida Memorial University where she accumulated many academic accolades along the way. When Aislin entered the workforce she continued to find favor with God and man, working diligently and being kind to those she met. She built and fostered lifelong friendships that transcended countries due to their strong foundation in Christ.
Aislin had a rich spiritual life since childhood that she took with her throughout her life. Being raised in a Christian home inspired her to give her talents back to God through ministry, notably choir and leadership. This upbringing also made her an avid visitor of many churches - one of which was where she met her future husband, soul-mate and love, Fritz Brave. Although both quiet and unassuming, they shared keen ambition, determination and deep faith. They ventured together in love, marriage and followed career calls, moved to Canada, and gained a host of friends and new family ties in their journey.
Most of all, this union brought three beautiful treasures into this world, who were the love of Aislin's life. She adored her children and doted on their similar and unique characteristics and looked forward to guiding them on their journey with Fritz at her side.
Aislin Grace's love and support was shared with her church families in the Bahamas and Ontario. Seeking the best for their family, they moved to Edmonton Alberta and were blessed to find Cornerstone Christian Church of God where they were embraced by a loving, caring, and Godly community and family.
Her love and legacy remain alive with us. The memory of her calm nature, her laughter and beautiful smile, her commitment to her friends and family, and the love she shared in caring for her children and her loving husband.
We ask the Lord to bless and strengthen Fritz and Victoria, Brooke and Isaac as they remember Aislin’s deep love sealed in their hearts.
