Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his parents; Ernie and Doreen Hann; his grandmother, Margaret Batstone; the love of his life, Christina Albit; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Brian was a very gentle person known by everyone to be always happy with a great sense of humour and would give a big smile with a thumbs up to everyone he met.
Now he would say;
“Remember me with smiles, not tears
For all the joy through the years
Don’t dwell on thoughts that cause you pain,
We’ll see each other again,
I am at peace, try to believe
It was my time, I had to leave “
Cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Brian’s Life on Wednesday, February 1, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. in downtown Fort McMurray at the Merit Hotel, 8200 Franklin Avenue. He will then be placed in his final resting place in Corner Brook, Newfoundland.
Brian was a dedicated Toronto Maple Leafs fan so in lieu of flowers the family ask that you make a donation in Brian’s name to the MLSE Foundation at this link; https://www.mlsefoundation.org/donations/overview
The MLSE Foundation was created by the Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment. They are an organization that was built on the belief that sport has the power to change the world.
