Born on June 29, 1943 in Occidental, Mindoro, Philippines to Eliseo and Strella Fontanilla.
Carmelita was known for her love of cooking delicious foods to family and friends and being kind-hearted and generosity made a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Carmelita is survived by husband Epifanio Abeleda, Children Joey and Juvy, Grandchildren Kristine, Hannae, Joey II and Janna Jay, Great Grandchildren, Isabela and Luna.
In lieu of flowers, the bereaved family requests memorial donations to assist with burial expenses back home in the Philippines.
