Carol Roth

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Carol Roth, the pillar of our family. She passed away on March 20, 2021, at the age of 89.

Carol worked for Safeway for 32 years and was an incredible role model for her 3 children. Through all of life’s ups and downs, she taught them to be hard working, strong and resilient. She taught them generosity, loyalty and kindness and to enjoy Life. For all these lessons her family will be eternally grateful. Carol met the love of her life Hank Roth and together they made their house a home, filled with laughter, great food, amazing pies, gatherings of friends and family, and of course their 3 dogs over the years. Gardening, watching the birds and bunnies in her yard, and her little dog Diva, made her smile.

She will be deeply missed by her children Linda (Pete) Horyn, Donna Piasetzki (Neil Vallance) and Ron Piasetzki (Kathy Gilchrist). She also leaves her sister Sue Allenby (Cam); 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Carol was predeceased by her husband, the late Carl Henry (Hank) Roth, whom she missed dearly. She was predeceased by her brothers, Nick and Tony.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made directly to the Edmonton Humane Society.

Our mother will be sorely missed.
