Charles Hershal Brigley

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Charles "Chuck" Hershel Brigley on July 1, 2023. He is survived by his loving son, Levi Brigley; his sisters, Carleen Brigley, Moneca Ackney, and Louella Lee; as well as many family members and a host of friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Frederick Brigley and Sandra Cassells. He also leaves behind his four-legged companions, Stella, Chicklet, and Lola, with whom he found daily comfort and joy.

He was born in Red Deer, AB, on May 20, 1962. The family moved to Edmonton, where Chuck finished high school. He completed his studies in gemology in Santa Monica, CA, and returned home, where he made a lifelong career as a gemologist.

Chuck loved to cruise the world. He had a passion for travel; it didn't matter whether it was on board a ship, on two wheels, or driving with the top down. His passion for motorcycles and corvettes was there throughout his life, and he continually shared it with his family and close friends.

Chuck will be remembered by many for his love to laugh, his ability to tell a story, and for his entrepreneurial spirit. We will hear his laugh echo in our memory of this kind-hearted father, brother, and friend.
