Cun Rou Qian

106岁。她走得非常安详、平静、幸福，没有任何痛苦。对于我们深爱的母亲的离去，我

们感到万分悲痛，但欣慰的是，她能和我们的父亲在天上团聚了。

钱存柔教授1918年6月20日生于江苏省泰县，从1950年起在北京大学生物系任教，直至

1987年退休。她治学严谨、言传身教、淡泊名利、待人谦和、深受广大师生的尊敬和爱

戴。她终生严于律己、宽厚待人、不畏艰难、乐于助人、孜孜求新、与时俱进，是我们后

辈值得一生效仿的榜样。

虽然亲爱的妈妈、奶奶、太奶奶离开我们了，但她的音容笑貌、慈爱恩泽永存我们心中，

她永远与我们同在！

Our dear mother, Professor Qian Cunrou, passed away in Edmonton, Canada at 10:50 pm on June 13, 2024 at 106 years old. She passed away very peacefully, calmly, happily, without any pain. For the passing of our beloved mother, we are devastated, but relieved that she will be reunited with our father in heaven.

Professor Qian Cunrou was born in Tai County, Jiangsu Province on June 20, 1918. He taught in the Department of Biology of Peking University from 1950 until she retired in 1987. She is rigorous in her studies, teaches by words and deeds, is indifferent to fame and fortune, and is humble in her treatment of others. She is deeply respected and loved by teachers and students.

Throughout her life, she was strict with herself, was generous to others, was not afraid of difficulties, was willing to help others, diligently pursued innovation, and kept pace with the times. She is our descendant.

An example worth following for a lifetime.Although our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother have left us, her voice, smile, love and kindness will remain in our hearts forever.

She is always with us!
