1983 -2011
It was the will of the Lord to take from us our beloved son Brian Fajayan at the age of 28 years. His family was his biggest joy and most precious possession. His loyalty and unwavering kindness has made him a true friend, loved by everyone. As he lived endearing, loving, unselfish and always happy- so will we remember him.
Sadly missed and deeply mourned by his parents Danny and Vilma; his beloved wife Melanie; his sister and brother-in-law Sheryl and Shaun; his nieces Kassidy and Elena; his canine brother Russell; sister-in-law Aurora, husband Jaime, nephew-in-law Matthew; and relatives residing in Edmonton, United States and the Philippines.
Brian brightened our lives when he was born on July 3, 1983 in Brunei. His compassion and warmth delighted all who knew him. His doteful nature leaves us all reeling, fully aware of the sunshine that is now lost from our lives. He lived many people’s dreams in his short life, exploring the best gifts life can offer. He travelled and explored, falling in love with nature and different cultures. From white water rafting to skydiving to mountain bike riding and kayaking, he revelled in the excitement that is life. His many talents and accomplishments had no end, but his professional career as a mechanical engineer was really just beginning.
Suddenly and without saying farewell our dearly beloved was taken from us on July 28, 2011, during a fatal motor vehicle accident. They say memories are golden, well maybe that is true. We never wanted memories, we only wanted you. A million times we needed you, a million times we cried. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life we loved you dearly; in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place no one could ever fill. If tears could build a stairway and heartache made a lane, we’d walk the path to Heaven and bring you back again. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same. But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again
