David was born on September 23, 1967, in St. John’s, Newfoundland. He built a life filled with outdoor adventure. David found peace in nature and spent much of his life exploring it. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed playing many rounds with his Mum over the years. David pursued his passion as a professional chef, taking great pride in cooking for others and pouring his heart into every meal, creating dishes that made people feel cared for.
David leaves behind his beloved mother, Chris Scott, whom he cherished and cared for with great love for many years; his siblings Andrew (Monisha) and Kathy (Andrew); nieces and nephews Chloe, Nathan, Zachary, Jacob, and Chelsea. He is also lovingly remembered by longtime friend Tina (Holly) Perih and her daughter Kaitlyn, and many friends. David was predeceased by his father, Dr. Josef Scott, in 2004.
David was a private person throughout his life. There will be no service. A private interment will take place at Rosehill Cemetery.
