On Tuesday, April 8, 2014 Donald Johnstone of Edmonton passed away peacefully at the age of 84 years.
Donald is survived by his beloved family: his wife of 62 years Elizabeth; sons Bruce (Mary-Anne), Don (Jodi), Rob (Leslie), Bill (Jolena) daughter-in-law Sandy; grandchildren Len (Amanda), Chuck (Kelsey), Dawn (Netta), David (Jacqueline), D’Layne (Matt), Marcus (Kelly), Nicole, Carl, Heather (Cory), and Victoria; great-grandchildren Dallyce, Zack, Brooklyn, Silas, Ryder, Mason, Teagan and Caiden as well as numerous other relatives and dear friends. His parents Winifred and Edgar Johnstone predeceased him. His son Len also predeceased him in 2010.
A viewing will be held Monday, April 14, 2014 at 12:00 pm followed with a Funeral Service at 1:00 pm at Hainstock’s Funeral Home, 9810-34 Avenue, Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted in his name to the Good Samaritan Society, Suite 200, 9405-50 Street, Edmonton, AB T6B 2T4.
