On January 6, 2014, Mrs. Elizabeth D Smith peacefully passed away at the age of 90 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Harvey Franklin Smith. Elizabeth is survived by her loving family, eight children, Ronald (Patricia), Linda (George) Chalifoux, Janet (Alex) Pinnick, Harvey (Jayne), Daniel (Marium), Orval (Kathy), Brian (Tracy) and Jacqueline (Simon) Jozzy; 28 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; nieces, Orvette Adie and Joanne Hayes. She is also survived by her brothers, Cleveland (Vivian) Hayes, Vant (Ethel) Hayes and Lloyd (Wendy) Hayes; many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. Special thanks to the staff at Devonshire Continuing Care Center and to Dr. M. Fiorino for the care and kindness provided.
A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at 11:00 am (viewing one hour prior to service) at Hainstock’s Funeral Home, 9810-34 Avenue, Edmonton. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home and /or donations to the Edmonton Alzheimer (Dementia) Society.
