Our Dear mother lived a wonderful long life of 96 years; with a song in her heart and she leaves us all with many fond loving memories.
Born to James & Laura Sinton of Loanhead Scotland, Ann came to Canada by way of steam ship as a war bride, first settling in the farming community of Sedgewick , then living the rest of her life in Edmonton.
Ann is survived by her family Isobel Bilyk, Roy Ferrier ( Joy), Smitten family, 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandsons, with extended Family in Canada, Scotland and the Isle of Man.
Predeceased by: Husband, Harry Ferrier (1964); Husband, Wilfred Smitten (1994); Sister, Isobel Guest (2012); Brother, Richard Sinton (2006); Daughter, Lorraine Tymchyshyn (2005): Son, Ian Ferrier (2014)
A Celebration of Ann’s Life will be held on Monday, June 9 at 2:00 pm at Hainstock’s Funeral Home 9810 - 34th Ave. Edmonton
