On March 15, 2016, Elsie Smith passed away at the Dr. Gerald Zetter Care Center. Elsie was born in Colchester, Alberta, February 16, 1915. Passed away, March 15, 2016 at the age of 101.
She is survived by her son, Sheldon Johnson (Diane) of Surrey, BC; and will be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews.
Elsie was predeceased by her husband, John Smith; sister in law, Hilda Smith; her parents, Susanna and Ludwig Neumann; brothers, Roy, Bill, Lloyd and Art; sisters, Rose, Dena, Hannah, Tilley, Lydia, Joey, and Erna.
The family Wishes to thank the staff at the Dr. Gerald Zetter Care center, 2 North for their kind and compassionate care.
A private interment will be held at Beechmount cemetery at a later date.
