Fred was born and raised in Edmonton and passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on December 1, 2016. He is survived by his, 3 children, Jim (Ruth), Wanda (Ron), and Bruce (Diane); 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; son-in-law, Jim; daughter-in-law, Pauline; nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Bessie; daughter, Donna; and son, Tim.
No service will be held, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of floral tributes, memorial donations may be made to the Kipnes Centre for Veteran’s Edmonton.
