Scott will be remembered for his generosity, strong will and unique perspective. He is survived by his wife Jana; son Brian (Marnie); grandchildren Jacob and Simon; sister Elaine and family; sisters-in-law Betty and Linda; and his sidekick Webster.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to the Grey Nuns Hospital, Palliative Care unit in Edmonton, Alberta. Cremation has taken place and interment will be at a later date in Stayner ON.
