It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our devoted husband, loving father and doting grandpa Gary Pollard. After receiving comfort care at the University of Alberta Hospital, Gary passed away on Wednesday April 5, 2023.
Gary leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 64 years Jackie, daughter Leslie (Daryl), son Derek, grandchildren Rachel, Ryan, Marcus and Carson and sister Pat. Gary was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Ruth and sister Bernice.
The family would like to acknowledge and extend their thanks to all of the medical team that cared for Gary, the EMS personnel, the U of A emergency staff and the nursing staff and doctors of 3G3 who, along with their professional expertise and compassion provided the best care to Gary and his family during this most difficult time.
