Georgette Marie Howard

It’s with heavy hearts we share the passing of Georgette Marie Howard on April 22, 2025

Georgette was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was the oldest sibling of 12 and was known for her strong will, fiery spirit, and deep love for her family. She had a sharp wit, a fierce heart, and a presence that could light up a room.

She leaves behind her children: Jean (Deb), Lorrie, Angie, Marilyn (Kevin), Linda, along with her cherished grandchildren Shaun, Wendy, Robert, Anthony, Jennifer, Shane, Ashley, Kayla, Nolan, Sara, Nicholas, Rebecca, and great-grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.

Georgette was predeceased by her husband, Raymond; her son, Donald; her son-in-law, Lee; her parents; five brothers; and two sisters.

She had a deep love for music, and her home was often filled with the sound of songs that brought joy, comfort, and connection. Whether she was playing her favorite tunes or dancing in the kitchen, music was a true reflection of her vibrant spirit.

Her family will remember her not only for her feisty nature but also for her unwavering support, loyalty, and the warmth she brought to every gathering. She lived on her terms and inspired others to do the same.

A visitation for Georgette will be held Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Memories Funeral Home and Crematorium, 13403 St Albert Trail, Edmonton, AB T5L4X1. A funeral service will occur Friday, May 2, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memories Funeral Home with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
