Gerald Henry Magnan

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald Henry Magnan, 74, of Edmonton, on February 7, 2022. He was born to parents Maria and Paul Magnan and is survived by brothers Robert (Ann), Leo (Sue), and Raymond (Donna).

He married Marnie in 1970 and had two wonderful children Joel (Jolan) and Daina (Warren) as well as two much loved grandchildren Reiken and Eowyn. Gerry was known for his love of hockey and golf which he passed on to his children and grandchildren. He loved photography and he and Marnie traveled the world to explore and photograph it. Gerry was often found puttering in his wood shop, building everything from small everyday items to large furniture that he gifted to those around him.

He was known and respected for his kindness, generosity, honesty, and sense of humour. Gerry was happiest when surrounded by friends and family, especially on the golf course.

Service will be for immediate family only. A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date to honour Gerry.
