Gerard is survived by his brother, Maurice (Cindy) Arcand; sister, Lorette (Ken) Stoski; as well as nieces and nephews, Alaina, Chantell, Ian, Robert, Cherise, Alix and Elsa. He was predeceased by his parents, Therese and Eldege, and his brother, Ronald.
Gerard grew up on a homestead in St. Albert and made St. Albert his home. When in primary school, he made friendships that lasted a lifetime. Gerry became a Journeyman Electrician and worked on many job sites, retiring from his position at NAIT about seven years ago.
