Gurshinder Kaur Gill

Our beloved spouse, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Gurshinder Kaur Gill (nee: Brar), passed away with dignity and peacefully, with her family by her side on September 13th, 2025 at the age of 74 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 55 years, Tarlochan Singh; children: Hardeep (Mandeep) and Harpreet (Manjit); grandchildren: Maeva, Rhea, Jeevun, Eishaan and Maansi; her loving brothers and sisters; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents: (Sangat Singh & Hardev Kaur); brothers (Gurcharan Singh and Swaranjit Singh).

Gurshinder was born in Kussa, Punjab, India in 1951. She moved to England in 1970 and thereafter moved to Canada in 1974, having lived predominantly in Winnipeg, MB before moving to Edmonton, AB to be closer to her family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm, on September 20th at Hainstock's Funeral Home, 9810 - 34 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T6E 6L1.

An Akand Paath Bhog will be held at 4:00 pm, on September 20th, at Millwoods Gurdwara, 2606 Millwoods Road East, Edmonton, AB T6L 5Y3.

Her final resting will be in her cherished city of Winnipeg.
